How this website handles enquiry information and what to consider when contacting the academy.

Information you provide
The enquiry form asks for your name, email address, phone number, education or profession and your message, and optionally the cruise department you are interested in. You also confirm that you agree to be contacted. Please do not include identity documents, medical records, financial details or other sensitive information.
How your enquiry is sent
When you press “Send Enquiry”, your answers travel over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to a small server-side function run by our website host, Netlify. The function checks the answers and then emails them from the academy’s own mailbox to info@cruisejobmentor.com using our email provider, Zoho Mail. The email also records the page you sent it from and the time it was sent. No third-party form service is involved.
If you choose “Send via WhatsApp instead”, your answers are placed into a WhatsApp message on your own device and nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp. WhatsApp messages are handled under WhatsApp’s own privacy terms.
How your enquiry is stored
The website does not keep your enquiry in a database. The copy that reaches the academy is stored in the academy’s Zoho Mail mailbox and is used only to reply to you and help with your cruise career enquiry.
To protect the form from abuse, the function counts how many enquiries come from each internet (IP) address. The address is stored only as a one-way scrambled code with the times of recent enquiries; times older than ten minutes are ignored and removed when the next enquiry arrives. While you are typing, your unsent answers are also kept in your own browser tab (session storage) so they are not lost if the page reloads. This copy never leaves your device and is cleared when the enquiry is sent or the tab is closed.
Website operation
This website does not use analytics, advertising trackers or marketing cookies. Our hosting provider processes technical request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and secure the website.
External links
Instagram and WhatsApp links open external services with their own privacy terms. Phone links use your device’s calling application.
